So we missed the snow at our house on Christmas Eve, but got to see some just a few days after we returned home! Hayden just gets a big smile when he sees it.
For New Years we went over to our friends Sheree, Deepak and Ava's house to celebrate - we had such a good time with yummy food, drinks and friends! Little man made it till around 10pm and then it was home bound. Trey and I watched the ball drop in our pjs with a glass of wine and there was no place I would have rather been.

Hayden was so over this hat by New Years Day - mean ol' Mommy dared put it on one more time for just one more picture. Someone soo needs a nap here :)
Speaking of naps, our sweet boy has decided just one nap a day is plenty for him, except of course when he falls asleep watching little Einsteins in his chair. He,he,he. Yes, I let my 1 year old watch just a little bit of TV - he loves it. Whatever. (And please ignore my disaster of a living room in the background - now you know why he is so tired.)

Last weekend we celebrated Grandma Barbara's birthday at Maggianos! Yummo - we had a great lunch and Hayden did so well too! He loved the bread, and the arugula off my plate the best (go figure?). Hayden wishes a Happy Birthday to his Grandma Barbara!

Hayden turned 13 months on the 5th of January. Boy is he all over the place, crawling very fast. He loves to get into anything new - cabinets, behind tables, under curtains - ya know, everywhere he's not supposed to be...such a boy. He can say Mama, Dada, Byebye, hat, nightnight, hi, baby, pop, and even can put hi dada together once in a while too. He likes to join in peek a boo by hiding under something and will still sing me a song when I ask. Still a great shopper, and loves to ride in the car - he weighs around 25lbs now and is around 32" still! We feel so blessed to have our amazing little boy in our lives, doing more and more everyday. He has made a great 1st year to our adventure together as a family :)
Happy New Year!
